Gray Rainbow signifies a journey of transformation through the juxtaposition of being lost in the tapestry of a conflicted inner world.

A world translated into emotional and mental disorientation, ruined by the construct of domineering transgenerational traumas, abuses, circumstances, pressures, and in addition to conditioning/programming from societal and familial normalcy mandates. A voyage of entrapment into the ambiguity of internal self-imprisonment tormented with anger, rage, grudges, resentments, and self-loathe.

With a constant atmosphere of real hurt and pain that cut deep, death’s door was always kept ever ajar to welcome my arrival through which my luscious vacation awaited with great anticipation and rejoicing. Alongside this, a heightened sense of allurement at attempts of suicides as solutions to stop excruciating emotional agony.

What started as a desperation of recording unfamiliar emotions to confront my demons, the journals transformed into a journey of vulnerability and courage into a deep process of trauma healing through brutal honesty and truth into my soul. A journey of discovering myself – my true self – my authentic self.

The transformative voyage of traveling from darkness to a colorful life takes on a literal meaning in experiential lessons and self-empowerment of every spectrum – the good and the bad.
